Happy Birthday Houston!

Today is my baby boy Houston's 1st birthday! I am super excited! I just really can't believe that it has already been a year! He is the most precious little peanut on the planet. He is such a momma's boy its not even funny! He loves to cuddle with me, and that is probably one of my favorite things right now! I am just so thankful to have such a happy, healthy, and beautiful baby!

Here are a few pictures throughout his first year....

Here is baby Houston in my belly shortly before his arrival!

Only hours old! His paci was bigger than his face!

This is what happens when I leave Houston alone with his daddy! They do look alike though...haha

His first Halloween as Superman, Brian would say "Super Shoudy"

He is ready for his license!!! But mommy's not!

Some of the things he is doing right now! He has been walking for about a month, he has 6 teeth and working on about 3 more!! This boy LOVES food! He loves playing with his sister Addison. They are starting to get into a rough housing stage and they both love it! He says ma ma, da da, bye bye, and nana! In the last week he has started shaking his head side to side like he is telling us "no"!! It is sooo cute! We are truly blessed to have him and I would not change one thing for the world! We love you Houston!!! Happy Birthday!

Last Thursday Brian surprised me......

Brian got Addison's ears pierced without telling me!! Shame on him! No, I really wasn't blindsided by this. We have been talking about it for months, but I didn't know that he went and actually did it. I went out for a bit and came home and my child's ears are pierced!! He said she did great, didn't even bat an eye! She is such a big girl! We thank God everyday that we have her in our lives as well!!

Good week so far.....

We have had a great week so far! This past weekend, my husband Brian took me to Nashville to see Carrie Underwood at the Grand Ole Opry! I just absolutely love her... and not to mention she is absolutely beautiful!! I could not wait to get home and see Addison and Houston! We were only gone a day and a half, and that was almost too much time away from them! Houston's birthday is next Thursday, so I am trying to get things together for his party. We are going to have it at Fountain City Park, so hopefully it will be a pretty day outside! Some sad news, my best friend Leslie's grandmother passed away. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Rachel has been at my house pretty much since Brian and I got back from Nashville on Sunday! I absolutely love it when she comes over. The kids LOVE her, and it totally gives me a break to do laundry, dishes, sweep, vacuum, or even take a short nap!! We love you Rachel!! And last but not least, today is my daddy's birthday, so Happy Birthday Daddy!!

My two beautiful babies loving on eachother!

We had a great day at the park as well... the weather was wonderful!

Houston's new favorite place...... the park!!!!

Carrie Underwood!! Love her!!!

New Blogger

Ok, so Frances asked me if I had started a blog yet, and of course I said no! So, while the kiddos were sleeping this afternoon I thought I would see what it is all about. I really have no clue what I am doing on here, so I am sure it will take me a while to figure everything out! So, hopefully everyone will be patient!! :) I really know nothing about computers , so it will be a challenge for me!
Let the challenge begin......
And I am super excited that in the morning, me and my hubby are take a very short anniversary roadtrip to Nashville to see Carrie Underwood at the Grand Ole Opry!! We are staying overnight at my Aunt Sandy's house there in Nashville, where we will not have to pay for room and board!! Thank you sooo much Aunt Sandy! Rachel will be watching our kiddos while we are gone! It really makes me sad to leave them, but this day and a half away from everything is very much needed! So, thank you Rachel for always being there when I need you most!!
